Alan Slawter is an experienced systems programmer with a strong background in designing and programming AV and VTC systems. Since December 2010, Alan has been employed at UNICOM Government Inc., focusing on creating touch-panel interfaces and programming AMX and Crestron systems for various environments including boardrooms, classrooms, and auditoriums. Prior to this role, Alan worked at The Whitlock Group as an AMX Crestron Programmer from August 2004 to November 2010 and served as a Programmer/Engineer at Sigcom from 1998 to 2004, where responsibilities included designing AV systems and programming AMX control systems. Alan holds a BSEET degree in Electronics from an educational period between 1994 and 1997, as well as an ASEE degree in Electrical Engineering from Montgomery College, Rockville, MD, earned from 1976 to 1977.
