Steve Obenski

Steve Obenski began their work experience in 2010 at Thomson Reuters, where they held various roles, including General Manager of Business Law Solutions and Director of Global Accounts. During their time there, they achieved significant sales growth and exceeded EBITDA targets. In 2012, they joined the New Orchestra of Washington as Chairman of the Board. In 2014, they joined Kira Systems as the Chief Commercial Officer, later assuming the roles of Chief Product Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Under their leadership, Kira Systems experienced substantial equity value growth and ultimately sold to Litera. In 2022, Obenski took on multiple advisory roles at UniCourt, NLPatent, DeepJudge, and Mainspring Consulting Group LLC. Steve also co-founded Strumenti.com, an investment platform for fine stringed instruments. Additionally, they served as a mentor at ICAP VA.

Steve Obenski has an M.A. in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Steve also holds a J.D. degree in Law from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law. Prior to that, Steve obtained their A.B. in Anthropology and English from Brown University.
