George Rizescu

George Rizescu has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. George currently holds the position of Head of IT Infrastructure Operations at UniCredit Bank Romania since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of IT Infrastructure and Application Support at Banca Romaneasca from 2021 to 2022.

Before their roles in the banking sector, Rizescu held the position of Head of Information Technology at Digital Cable Systems from 2008 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for leading a department that encompassed software development, IT services, and IT operations. George worked closely with key stakeholders to develop and deliver IT strategies aligned with business objectives. Additionally, they oversaw the digital transformation of business processes and managed a complex network of IT systems and services.

Earlier in their career, Rizescu served as an IT Manager at Dial Telecom from 2004 to 2008 and at World Trade Center Bucharest from 2000 to 2004.

Overall, George Rizescu has a diverse range of experience in IT management and has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic planning skills throughout their career.

George Rizescu attended the ASEBUSS Business School from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Management Excellence. Prior to that, they studied at the Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti from 1996 to 2001, specializing in the field of Cibernetica. Additionally, George Rizescu has obtained certifications in CCISO from EC-Council, ITIL Foundation and ITIL Service Operations from ITAcademy, and MCP from Microsoft.
