Massimiliano D'Abramo has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Massimiliano is currently a Senior Vice President and the Head of Models, Systems, Data & Digital for Credit Risk at UniCredit, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Credit Risk Modelling & Systems at HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit - Deutschland from April 2016 to April 2020.
Before joining HypoVereinsbank, Massimiliano worked at UniCredit Services from 2005 to 2016, where they held various roles. Massimiliano served as the IT & Operations Credits Product Line Head from April 2014 to March 2016 and also as the Head of Group Risk Management. In this latter role, they were responsible for leading the implementation of regulatory requirements such as Basel 2 and 3 for Credit, Operation, Market, and Credit Counterparty Risk. Massimiliano also led the set-up of the IT Risk Competence Center in Munich and played a key role in implementing risk data aggregation and risk reporting standards.
Prior to joining UniCredit, Massimiliano worked at Accenture as a Team Manager from April 1998 to March 2005.
