Youssef Fahd has extensive work experience that spans various roles and companies. Youssef first began their career as an Assistant Engineer at The GEA Group in 2006. In 2009, they worked as an Intern in Distressed Investments at SVPGlobal. Following this, they joined Landesbank Berlin Holding AG as an Analyst Structured Credit, where they conducted research and worked on credit derivatives trading.
In 2011, Youssef started working at UniCredit as an Associate and stayed with the company until 2014. During their time at UniCredit, they undertook multiple roles, including Associate Director and Director. In these positions, they gained experience in power and infrastructure finance and export financing.
In 2015, Youssef joined Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ as an Associate Director for a brief period before returning to UniCredit as an Associate Director once again. In their most recent role at UniCredit, which began in 2020, Youssef serves as the Managing Director and Head of Power & Infrastructure Finance in Germany. Youssef currently holds this position and is also the Head of Infrastructure & Export Financing in Germany.
Youssef Fahd studied Industrial Engineering with a Focus on Finance and Energy Technologies, earning a Diploma from Technische Universität Berlin from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, they were a Visiting Student at Sophia University from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a Graduate Program in Global Studies.
