Giovanni Iaquinta

Giovanni Iaquinta has extensive experience in financial services, currently serving as the Head of Transactions & Payments FI Sales Italy at UniCredit since September 2015. Additionally, Giovanni holds roles as Global Head of GTB Risk and Portfolio Optimization and Head of Group Balance Sheet Management, focusing on balance sheet optimization initiatives, FX hedging strategies, and synthetic securitizations. Prior to this, Giovanni led Group Credit Portfolio Management and served as Head of Credit Treasury at UniCredit Bank Austria AG and as an Associate at UniCredit. Early career experience includes work as a Senior Analyst in Capital Management. Giovanni holds a degree in Finance from Università Bocconi, earned in 2002 with a distinction of 110/110.
