Pasquale Barbalace

Pasquale Barbalace is an experienced professional in cash management and product development, currently serving as Head of Cash Management Italy at UniCredit since January 2017, focusing on the implementation of PSD2 regulation and the rollout of SWIFT gpi and Open Banking services. Prior to this role, Pasquale worked as a Senior Consultant at Be Think, Solve, Execute S.p.A., providing support for payment tools in the Public Administration and engaging in SEPA projects for major Italian banking groups. Earlier experience includes a role as a Risk Consultant at PwC, involved in internal audit and risk consulting, as well as an internship at Allianz Bank Financial Advisors. Pasquale holds a Master's degree in Management Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Università Bocconi, along with an exchange program at Sun Yat-sen University.
