El Fouih Younness

EL FOUIH Younness, PhD, currently serves as the National Coordinator of the AEEIM Project at UNIDO, focusing on enhancing energy efficiency in Moroccan industries. With extensive experience in energy consulting, Younness co-founded TRUSTED ENERGY, where strategic direction is provided to advance energy management and sustainability efforts. As Chief Executive Officer of SmartBus Morocco, Younness leads initiatives to modernize school transportation. Academic qualifications include a Research Doctorate in Energy and Buildings from the Faculté des Sciences et Techniques de Fès and a Master's degree in Energy from Mines Paris - PSL, complemented by an Engineer's degree in Process and Energy from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Rabat. Previous roles include positions at Altran France and ARMINES, where Younness contributed to energy performance improvement and CO2 valorization projects.
