Roger Ruvolo has extensive experience in journalism, beginning with a B.A. in journalism and English literature from The University of New Mexico. At The Press-Enterprise since October 1990, Roger has held various roles, starting on the copy desk before progressing to Assistant News Editor and News Editor, managing a team of 40. Since 2004, Roger has served as Assistant Managing Editor, overseeing production staff and collaborating with operations to enhance the print product. Prior to this, from January 1974 to April 1990, Roger worked at the Albuquerque Journal as a sportswriter, editorial writer, and Assistant Features Editor, where Roger managed the reporting of arts, trends, and entertainment while winning awards for editorial writing.
