Kitiya Vongkamjan is a notable expert in food science and technology, serving as the Founder and CEO of UniFAHS since April 2020, where innovative phage-based solutions are developed to address bacterial infections in animals and food safety. Additionally, Kitiya holds the position of Associate Professor at Kasetsart University since January 2021 and previously held a similar role at Prince of Songkla University from December 2012 to December 2020. Academic research focuses on food safety across production chains and includes collaborative studies, prototype development for startups, and advanced genomic analyses of foodborne pathogens. Kitiya obtained a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University, where research involved studying Listeria phages, and has experience as a research intern at Danisco and a student research assistant at the University of Guelph.
