Diederik Janssen

Diederik Janssen serves as the Director Brand Sales for EMEA at Unifi Manufacturing, Inc. since January 2013, specializing in sustainable circular and recycled synthetics while collaborating closely with brands, retailers, and mills on product development and marketing strategies. Previously, Diederik co-founded and held the position of Vice President at MaxTex, a network dedicated to enhancing sustainability in the textile supply chain. Diederik's extensive experience also includes ownership and direction at Elastics International Ltd, strategic leadership at Genexion SA, and export sales at Wykes International Ltd, all contributing to a strong foundation in business development and client management. Educational credentials include an MSc in Materials Science from EPFL, an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp from INSEAD, and a Micro MBA focusing on various aspects of management and leadership, complemented by further studies in textiles.
