Roy Pereira

Roy Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Roy is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Unified API Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Techstars as a Mentor starting from February 2018. From March 2015, they became an Investor at CareGuide. In January 2022, they held the position of GM SMB Division at Vendasta and then transitioned to the role of GM CalendarHero from October 2021 to January 2022. Additionally, Roy served as a Board of Directors Member, Investor & Advisor at Blockthrough from March 2016 to October 2022. Roy is the Founder of CalendarHero, which was previously known as Zoom and started in 2016 as an AI Assistant, evolving into an AI Meeting Scheduling Assistant. Before that, they were the VP Product Strategy at Rubicon Project from November 2014 to February 2016. Roy also founded and served as the CEO of Shiny Ads from May 2009 until its acquisition by Rubicon Project in 2014. Furthermore, they co-founded Refresh Partners Inc. in May 2007 and held the role of Director until April 2009. Finally, Roy worked as VP, Marketing (Consulting) at Bioscrypt, Inc. from December 2006 to April 2007, where they played a pivotal role in transforming the corporate brand and messaging.

Roy Pereira attended Carleton University from 1988 to 1990, where they pursued a degree in playing Euchre within the field of Computer Science.
