Dũng Trần

Dũng Trần, M.S. has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a GIS Technician for the City of Rockville. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Database Administrator and Developer at Innovate!, Inc. There, they were responsible for maintaining databases, developing water modeling applications, and optimizing system performance. In 2018, they joined Medisolv, Inc. as a Data Integration Architect. In this role, they designed and implemented a data integration architecture using Python and Scala, optimized code and Apache Spark jobs, and ensured adherence to healthcare industry best practices. Most recently, in 2022, they started working as a Senior Data Engineer at Unified.

Dũng Trần, M.S. has a strong educational background with degrees in various fields. Dũng completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Maryland in 2013. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, graduating in 2018.

Dũng Trần's educational journey did not stop there. In order to enhance their expertise, they enrolled at Capitol Technology University in 2020. Dũng is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Artificial Intelligence, expected to be completed in 2024.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dũng Trần has obtained several certifications to expand their skillset and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. These include certifications such as Node.js Essential Training from LinkedIn (obtained in December 2022), Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate from Microsoft (obtained in September 2022), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft (obtained in March 2021), and Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 from Databricks (obtained in January 2021).
