Katharine Kalan

Katharine Kalan has a diverse work experience in the media and advertising industry. Katharine is currently working as a Paid Social Account Manager at Unified since September 2021. Prior to this, they were a Media Strategist at KARE 11 from December 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they worked at KARE 11 as an Account Manager/Media Strategist from March 2019 to August 2021, where they managed integrated partnership execution, client production, and cross-departmental communication. Katharine also developed and executed sales collateral, social media content, and client communications.

Katharine also gained valuable experience at Comcast, where they worked as a Campaign Manager from August 2014 to March 2019. In this role, they handled advertising campaigns. Earlier in their career, they served as a Regional National Sales Coordinator at Sinclair Broadcast Group from May 2011 to August 2014, where they managed national advertising orders and served as the social media point person for The CW23's Facebook and Twitter pages. Katharine started their career as a National Sales Assistant at Katz Media Group from July 2006 to May 2011.

Katharine Kalan completed their education in the field of Communications and Psychology. Katharine attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior from 2001 to 2002, and then transferred to the University of Minnesota Duluth where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Katharine obtained a degree in Communications during this time.

In addition to their formal education, Katharine Kalan has also obtained several certifications.
