Varun Garg

Varun Garg has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Varun started their career in 2014 as a Scriptwriter for Aayaam-The Dramatics Society of MAIT. In 2015, they joined Qrius (formerly The Indian Economist), initially as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate.

In 2015, Varun also founded bookthebook, where they served as the Co-Founder and Head of Technology. Varun developed a website using Wordpress and implemented a payment portal, successfully selling second-hand books to university students. This experience allowed him to develop excellent communication and leadership skills.

In 2016, Varun worked as a Software Developer Intern for AdmitKard. Varun developed chrome extensions, created APIs, and designed REST/HTTP APIs for backend communication.

Varun then interned as a Software Developer for Tata Consultancy Services Limited in 2017. Varun worked on a Drupal team, developing an interactive website and ensuring cybersecurity practices were followed.

From 2017 to 2018, Varun held multiple leadership roles in Toastmasters International. Varun served as the President, Vice President Education, and Vice President Public Relations of the Toastmasters Club of New Delhi.

In 2019, Varun joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2020.

Next, they were employed by Delhivery as a Software Engineer from 2020 to 2022.

Most recently, Varun joined Unifocus in 2022, where they currently serve as a Software Engineer.

Varun Garg's education history is as follows:

From 2018 to 2019, they attended University College Dublin and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science through Negotiated Learning. During this time, they did not specify a field of study.
