Syed Shahzad Zia

Syed Shahzad Zia has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the software development industry. Syed Shahzad is currently working as an Engineering Lead at Unifonic, where they are responsible for developing new features and overseeing communication and charging traffic. Previously, Syed worked as a Solution Architect / Java Lead at Digitify, leading a team of java developers in the development of a Fintech product. Syed Shahzad was also a Solution Architect / Java Lead at Courioo Technologies, where they led a team working on an automated courier business product. In addition, Syed has held positions as a Senior Full Stack Java Developer at UWorx Group, a Senior Software Developer at 1Insurer, and a Senior Software Developer at NetSol Technologies Inc. Syed Shahzad began their career as a Software Engineer at SigmaTec Solutions Pvt. Limited and a Technical Analyst / Developer at Technology Wisdom. Throughout their career, Syed has gained experience in system architecture, Java development, database design, and project management, among other skills. Syed Shahzad has also worked with various technologies and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Microservice architecture.

Syed Shahzad Zia pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab during the years 2002-2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mining from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore from 1998-2002. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications such as Kong Gateway Foundations from Kong Inc. in 2022, CSM (Certified Scrum Master) from Scrum Alliance in 2018, and SCJP (Sun Certified Java Programmer) as well as SCWCD (Sun certified Web Component Developer) certifications from Sun.
