Eugenio Rodriguez, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to the present. Eugenio started their career at Lombard Odier as an Analyst Support. Eugenio then worked at the University of Geneva as a Scientific Assistant, where they organized and supervised exercise classes and labs for students. Afterwards, they joined Swissquote Bank as a Quantitative Analyst, Authorized Officer, where they contributed to the development of the ePrivate Banking platform and managed the Swissquote Quant Equities Fund. Eugenio then moved on to Unigestion, where they held multiple roles over the years. As a Quantitative Analyst, Vice President, they were responsible for the RiskMetrics platform and hedge fund monitoring. Currently, they serve as a Portfolio Manager, Senior Vice President at Unigestion, overseeing the management and construction of multi-asset portfolios. Eugenio has also conducted research and backtesting on quantitative strategies and risk models.
Eugenio Rodriguez, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of mathematics. Eugenio obtained their Swiss Federal Maturity degree with a focus on orientation in mathematics and physics from Gymnase de Nyon in the years 1993 to 1996. Eugenio then went on to pursue higher education at the University of Geneva, where they completed their Master's degree in Mathematics from 1996 to 2001. Following this, Eugenio earned their PhD in Mathematics from the University of Geneva, graduating between 2002 and 2006.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Eugenio Rodriguez has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they achieved the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification from PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association. Later, in 2019, they completed the Deep Learning Specialization and Machine Learning courses from Coursera.
