Carla Silva

Carla Silva is a highly experienced professional in the health and laboratory sectors, currently serving as Técnica Superior Saúde and Auditora Interna ISO 9001 at Unilabs Portugal since April 2019. Carla has successfully led the implementation and certification of the Global Safe Site Seal from Bureau Veritas during the COVID-19 pandemic across Unilabs units and offices. Prior to this, Carla worked at BMAC from February 2000 to March 2019, holding multiple positions including Quality Manager and Safety Delegate for the Microbiology Laboratory, as well as coordinating quality across various laboratories. Carla also has experience in education, having taught at basic and secondary schools, and served as a trainer for laboratory courses at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, UCP. Carla holds a Master’s degree in Biology from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto.
