Rui Fernandes

Rui Fernandes is a Senior Biomedical Scientist at Unilabs since September 2021, bringing extensive experience in the field of biomedical science. Previous roles include Biomedical Scientist at Bupa Cromwell Hospital from March 2019 to October 2020, and Locum Biomedical Scientist at Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a brief period in 2018. Rui's foundational experience includes a series of internships in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunohematology across various hospitals and institutions between 2015 and 2016. Rui holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist and a Licentiate degree in Técnico de Análise Clínicas e Saúde Pública, both obtained from Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto between 2013 and 2017.
