Laura Ambrose

Laura Ambrose is a seasoned professional in the fields of safety, health, and environmental governance, currently serving as the Chief Safety Health and Environmental Officer at Unilever since January 2021. Ambrose also holds a position on the Board of Trustees for the National Safety Council and is a Steering Team member of the Campbell Institute. With extensive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Ambrose previously worked as the Global Environmental Health and Safety Director at The Dow Chemical Company from 2009 to 2020, where responsibilities included Environmental Stewardship and Workplace Health, among others. Additionally, Ambrose served as CEO and Owner of LAA Consulting LLC for a brief period in 2020 and held leadership roles at Union Carbide Corporation, enhancing strategic growth and community relations. Ambrose earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
