Neil Shaw

Neil Shaw is a seasoned professional in the fields of science and innovation, currently serving as the Head of Future Chassis & Processing for Unilever Deodorants since July 2025. Prior to this role, Neil held significant positions at ghd, including Head of Science & Innovation and Head of Science, from March 2023 to July 2025. Neil's career includes serving as Head of Product Innovation at GAMA Healthcare Ltd and as Head of Formulation Technology at Lonza. Neil's extensive experience at Unilever, spanning from 1998 to 2018, included various leadership roles in research and development. Neil began the professional journey as a Scientific Officer at the Transport Research Laboratory Limited. Educationally, Neil holds a PhD in Physics from Lancaster University, a Master of Engineering in Transport Planning & Engineering from the University of Leeds, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics & Chemistry from the same institution.
