Peter Bates

Peter Bates is the Executive Chairman at UniLodge Australia and has been instrumental in managing the leading independent student accommodation provider in Australia and New Zealand since 2006. In addition to this role, Peter serves as Executive Chairman at Essence Communities, contributing to its position as Australia's top Build to Rent property management platform. Previously, Peter held significant leadership roles at Lend Lease, including Managing Director for Greater China and General Manager for Queensland. Peter studied Civil Engineering at The University of Queensland, where they graduated with Honours.
