Ivan Florez

Ivan Florez serves as a Full Professor in Pediatrics and Clinical Epidemiology at Universidad de Antioquia since August 2006, where also holds the title of Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and teaches in the Master Program in Public Health. Additionally, Ivan Florez is the Editor-in-Chief of Clinical & Public Health Guidelines as of September 2023, overseeing a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to guideline science. Concurrently, Ivan Florez has been an Assistant Professor and lecturer at McMaster University since September 2014, instructing in Health Research Methodology and Health Management. Ivan Florez is also a practicing pediatrician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Las Américas Auna since September 2018, and has held various teaching roles across multiple institutions, including Universidad del Norte and Universidad El Bosque. Ivan Florez's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, a Master’s in Clinical Epidemiology, and a Medical Doctor degree from Universidad de Antioquia.
