Kaisa Huhtinen

Kaisa Huhtinen is a Clinical Study Manager at Uniogen since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in research and project leadership, particularly in the fields of ovarian cancer, drug resistance, and personalized medicine. Previous roles include University Researcher at the University of Helsinki (January 2021 - September 2023) and Senior Research Scientist at the University of Turku (January 2015 - January 2021), where collaboration with clinicians and mathematicians was emphasized through studies on endometriosis. Additional experience includes positions as a Cell Biologist at Turku University Hospital and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Turku. Early career roles involved research in transgenic mouse models and drug discovery models at Hormos Medical Ltd. Kaisa holds a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Turku and an MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Oulu.
