Gayan Lokupitiya

Gayan Lokupitiya holds an MBA from Wrexham University and a B.Sc in Information Technology from Curtin University. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Application Administration at Union Bank of Colombo since August 2022, Gayan is skilled in eliciting business requirements and facilitating effective applications solutions by acting as a liaison among IT services, operations, development, and support vendors. Prior to this role, Gayan was Manager of IT Projects at Amana Bank where responsibilities included designing and implementing IT project roadmaps in the context of Islamic banking. Gayan also held managerial and executive positions focused on business systems and support at Amana Bank and began a career at National Development Bank PLC in IT application support.
