Janet Torres

Janet Torres has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Janet currently works as the EVP, Chief Operations Officer at Union Bank of Michigan, where they oversee various lines of business and ensures compliance and profitability for the bank. Prior to this, they held roles as the SVP, Retail & Deposit Operations Director and VP, Retail Banking & Deposit Operations at the same bank.

Before joining Union Bank of Michigan, Torres worked at Macatawa Bank, where they served as the Director of Operations and Training, Retail Operations and Training Manager, and Retail Sales and Service Manager. Janet also has previous experience at Fifth Third Bank, where they held positions such as Human Resources Business Partner, Regional HR Specialist, and Talent Acquisition Consultant. Additionally, they completed a Leadership Program and served as a Collections Supervisor.
