Sonji Jackson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in social work, education, and ministry. Currently serving as an Emergency Crisis Clinician at RBHA since May 2022, Sonji also holds the role of Ordained Minister and Minister of Music at Union Baptist Church, along with teaching Sunday School and actively participating in the Youth department. A commitment to education is evident from a long tenure as a Substitute Teacher and Transportation Driver for Nottoway County School System from 2006 to 2022, where Sonji ensured student safety and continuity in learning. Additionally, practical experience was gained through internships at Central State Hospital and various departments of social services. Sonji holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary. The academic background is complemented by an Associate's degree in Human Services from Southside Virginia Community College.
