Kia Hood

Kia Hood is an experienced plant/site pastor and program administrator at Union Baptist Church since March 2005, where responsibilities include managing administration and support for programs serving over 3,000 individuals and training a staff of 34. Prior to this role, Kia Hood served as the site director at Apex School of Theology from June 2015 to June 2019, focusing on educational planning and resource management for the campus. Earlier experience as a case manager with Goodwill Industries of Northwest NC involved overseeing vocational training and job search support for individuals across Northwest Piedmont. Kia Hood's educational background includes a Doctor's Degree in Ministry Leadership from United Theological Seminary, a Master's Degree in Divinity/Ministry from Wake Forest University, a Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Winston-Salem State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Science from the same institution.
