Union Baptist Church
T. Ray McJunkins has served as the Lead Pastor at Union Baptist Church since August 2002 and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Mu Delta Lambda Charitable Foundation since 2011. McJunkins previously held roles including President of the Faith Coalition for the Common Good from 2009 to April 2014, and President of Gamaliel of Illinois and Iowa from January 2015 to July 2017. Other board memberships include Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Council (2016-2018), United Way Worldwide (2010-2012), and the Springfield Urban League (2003-2006). T. Ray McJunkins is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a Staff Sergeant from February 1984 to February 1988. Academically, McJunkins earned a BA in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University (1993) and a MA in Christian Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Seminary (1998).
