Frances Maloy

Frances Maloy has been a librarian for over 20 years. Frances began their career at Emory University in 1992 and held various positions there until 2012 when they became the Services Division Leader. In 2004, they became involved with the ACRL and served as President from January 2004 to December 2005. Currently, they are the College Librarian at Union College.

Frances Maloy received a BA in Theirtory from St. Lawrence University and a Masters in Library Science from the University at Albany, SUNY.

Some individuals on their team include Leslee Barkley - Administrative Assistant & Office Manager, Sarah Schmidt - Director of Special Collections & Archives, and Joanna DiPasquale - Director of Content and Digital Library Systems. They work with Nicole Marshall - Director of College Grants & Sponsored Programs, Jennifer Currey - Interim Director of the Templeton Institute of Engineering & Computer Science, and Rebecca Cortez - Director of Engineering. Frances Maloy reports to Strom Thacker, VP of Academic Affairs & Dean for the Faculty.
