Julie Swidler

Julie Swidler currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Union College and has held the position of Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and General Counsel (Global) at Sony Music Entertainment since May 2008. With extensive experience in the music industry, Julie Swidler has previously worked in key roles at BMG, RCA Music Group, J Records, Arista Records, Mercury Records Limited, and PolyGram, where responsibilities included leading mergers, managing legal affairs, and establishing business strategies that enhanced operational efficiency and financial performance. Julie Swidler holds a JD from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Union College.
