Marcus Hotaling

Marcus Hotaling is an accomplished professional in the field of counseling psychology, currently serving as the Past-President and Mentor Program Manager for the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors since October 2021. In this role, Marcus oversees the Mentor Program, including mentor-mentee matching and program evaluation, while also managing the nomination process for annual awards. Previously, Marcus held the position of President at Union College from July 2007 and served as the Director of the Counseling Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from August 2003 to July 2007. Marcus began a career at the University at Albany as a Psychologist and Outreach Coordinator from August 2001 to August 2003, following work as the Assistant Director of Career Services. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University at Albany and a BA in Clinical Psychology from Alfred University.
