Jourdan Spencer

Jourdan Spencer is an experienced educator with a focus on special education and transition planning. Currently serving as an Instructor for Project SEARCH at Overlook Medical Center, Jourdan leads the on-site team and develops individualized education plans and career plans for students. Previous roles include Skills Training Program Director at Camp Yachad, where Jourdan created work experience programs for teens with special needs, and as a Special Education Teacher in both South Orange & Maplewood School District and Newmark Education, where responsibilities included implementing accommodations and managing classroom behavior. Jourdan holds a Transition Specialist Certificate from The University of Kansas, a Master's in Education from Saint Elizabeth University, and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
