Darleen (Darla) Morris is a highly experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Content Consultant at the University of Virginia, Darla creates and aligns fluency reading passages to state literacy standards. Since August 2007, Darla has held various teaching roles within Union County Public Schools, including positions as a Science Teacher, 8th grade AIG/English I Teacher, and Instructional Technology Facilitator. Darla has expertise in developing online learning modules and leading professional development sessions, alongside a commitment to supporting gifted students through collaboration and grant writing. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching, a Master of Science in Biology, and a certificate in Academically and Intellectually Gifted education.
