C.T. Hussion has extensive experience in the education field, with roles ranging from Teacher and Coach to Director of Teaching and Learning. They began their career at Gainesville City Schools in 1999, where they worked as a Teacher and Coach until 2006. Following that, they joined Union County School System, where they held various positions including Teacher and UCHS Assistant Principal from 2006 to 2017, and Assistant Principal from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Principal of Union County High School, a position they held until 2023. Currently, they serve as the Director of Teaching and Learning at Union County Schools.

C.T. Hussion's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled at Piedmont University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History in 1997. Later, in 1997-1998, C.T. Hussion pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching, also at Piedmont University. Continuing their education, they attended Piedmont University again in 2013-2014, this time obtaining an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2015-2016, C.T. Hussion then attended Kennesaw State University to pursue an Educational Leadership Certification, focusing on Educational Leadership and Administration, General.
