Stephen Jacobson, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Union Financial since September 2025. Prior to this role, Stephen worked for Canadian Western Bank from October 2011 to August 2025, where Stephen held several positions, including AVP & Deputy Manager overseeing a team of commercial lenders, AVP of Business Development focusing on mid-market commercial banking clients, and AVP of Credit Risk Management, responsible for credit adjudication across Western Canada. Stephen's early career included roles as Senior Manager of Corporate Lending and Corporate Lending Analyst, contributing to loan syndication and departmental analysis. Stephen earned a BCom with Distinction in Finance from the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, and also studied at Uppsala University in 2009.
