Michael Goldberg has a diverse work experience. Michael started their career in 2002 as a Production Editor at URJ Books and Music. In 2006, they joined Elsevier as a Senior Project Manager. In 2008, they returned to Union for Reform Judaism, where they held various roles including Publisher and Editor in Chief, Director of Knowledge Management, Director of Operations, and currently serves as the Director of Data Management and Business Intelligence.

Michael Goldberg attended Columbia University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time at Columbia University, their field of study was Literature and Writing. Additionally, they also attended The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) from 1995 to 1999, where they earned another Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. At JTS, their field of study was Jewish Literature.
