Nicole Auerbach serves as the Rabbi for Small Groups at Central Synagogue since May 2014, focusing on providing content, coaching, and support to lay-led small groups, fostering deep connections among congregants and with Jewish tradition. Previously, Nicole Auerbach held the role of Rabbinic Intern at Central Synagogue and worked as a Jewish Studies Teacher at Congregation Rodeph Sholom from September 2010 to June 2012. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate at Levine, Sullivan, Koch & Schulz from March 2005 to March 2009 and as a Trial Attorney for the Federal Public Defender in New York City from September 2001 to March 2005. Nicole Auerbach holds a Rabbinical Ordination from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-New York, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Women's Studies from Harvard University.
