Dean Kurpjuweit is the President of Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver since September 2022. Prior to this role, Dean served as the Chief Regional Officer at The Mustard Seed from March 2019 to September 2022 and held the position of Executive Director Edmonton at Mustard Seed Alberta from September 2015 to September 2022. Before their time at The Mustard Seed, Dean was the Senior Pastor at Next Christian Community from January 2005 to September 2015. Dean also has experience as an Executive/Associate Pastor at St. Albert Alliance Church and as a Grade 6 Teacher at Rocky Christian School. Dean holds a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Ambrose University College.
