Joerg Schmidt

Joerg Schmidt has over 25 years of experience in portfolio and asset management, currently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager Multi Asset and Head of Multi Management & Portfolio Construction at Union Investment since October 1998, managing a €3 billion Liquid Alternatives Multi Manager Program and focusing on ESG integration and portfolio optimization. Previously held roles at Union Investment include Senior Portfolio Manager Multi Asset and Head of Manager Selection, and Portfolio Manager Asset Allocation with responsibilities in multi management and risk management. In January 2023, Joerg Schmidt took on the role of Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at VisualVest. Joerg Schmidt began his career as a trainee at Commerzbank AG and holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
