Melanie Hitchcock

Melanie Hitchcock has extensive experience in journalism and editorial roles, having served as Editor in Chief, Managing Editor, Night Editor, and Assistant Night Editor/Page Designer at the New Hampshire Union Leader since May 2008. Additionally, Melanie held the position of Editor of ParentingNH at McLean Communications from August 2008 to November 2020. Between January 2010 and May 2012, Melanie also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor, teaching the course Organization of Newswork in the Communication Arts department at the University of New Hampshire-Manchester. Prior experience includes roles as Region Editor and Assistant Night Editor at The Telegraph-Nashua Downtown from August 2005 to April 2008. Melanie Hitchcock holds a degree from the University of New Hampshire-Manchester.
