Colin Byers

Colin Byers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental education and advocacy. As a Senior Campaign Coordinator at the Union of Concerned Scientists since May 2021, Colin works on initiatives related to climate change and sustainability. Prior to this role, Colin served as an Adjunct Instructor at the College of Lake County, designing curricula for Introduction to Horticulture with a strong emphasis on climate-related issues. Colin holds a Master's degree in Climate Change and Global Sustainability from the School for International Training and has previously worked as a Youth Farm Coordinator at the Chicago Botanic Garden, overseeing youth job training programs.
