Brett Hiscock

Brett Hiscock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information assurance, currently serving as the General Director of Information Assurance at Union Pacific Railroad since January 2004. In this role, Brett focuses on fostering team growth while ensuring the delivery of secure and user-friendly services for employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers. Previous roles at Union Pacific included Senior Director, Director, and Senior Manager where Brett oversaw critical aspects of the organization’s Information Assurance program, advising senior management on security threats amidst a vast environment of over 44,000 systems and 175,000 users. Notable achievements include designing security controls for enterprise SOA messaging and integrating security assurance tools throughout the software development lifecycle. Brett began a career in information assurance at Omnium Worldwide as a Senior System Engineer, maintaining network security infrastructures. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
