Jennifer Sedlacek

Jennifer Sedlacek serves as the General Director of Operating Systems at Union Pacific Railroad, providing strategic leadership for various transportation systems and development initiatives, including Positive Train Control and Autonomous Train Operations. With a career at Union Pacific since 1994, Sedlacek's roles have included Director of Strategic Planning, Health and Safety Operations Director, and General Director of Compensation & Succession Planning, demonstrating a commitment to safety, strategic corporate growth, and effective workforce management. In addition to railroad leadership, Sedlacek is a member of the Nebraska Workforce Development Board, contributing to the enhancement of local workforce systems, and previously served as president of the Bennington Athletic League. Sedlacek holds an MBA in Finance from Creighton University and a BSBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
