Sean Katon

Sean Katon currently serves as the Manager of Terminal Operations at Union Pacific Railroad, focusing on the efficiency and safety of the Chicago rail network in the Proviso rail yard since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Watco Companies LLC as the Manager of Yard Operations and Certified Professional Conductor at Wisconsin and Southern Railroad, where operational fluidity and customer service were prioritized. Sean's earlier experiences include volunteering at the Southern Michigan Railroad, project management at RadioLab Instruments, and several roles at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, including Finance Director for the Positive Business Project and First Year Experience Coach. Sean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Community Action and Social Change from the University of Michigan.
