William A. Miller

William A. Miller, CPSM, C.P.M. has extensive experience in vendor management and strategic sourcing, currently serving as a Senior Technology Vendor Management Lead at Union Pacific Railroad since October 2014, overseeing technology contracts and managing vendor relationships with over $250 million in annual spending. Previous roles at Union Pacific included Director of Strategic Sourcing for both Premium Operations and Technology, where William designed cost-saving strategies, provided category management guidance for enterprise software, and implemented sourcing best practices. William's earlier experience includes positions at Lincoln Financial Group as Assistant Vice President of Vendor Relations, West Corporation as Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing, and First Data Corporation as Vice President of Category and Supplier Management. William holds a Master of Arts in Management from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
