Jozef Koma

Jozef Koma serves as the Chief Insurance Officer and Board Member at Union poisťovňa a.s. and Union zdravotná poisťovňa a.s. since July 2015, overseeing product development, underwriting, and health care purchasing among other responsibilities. Koma has a strong background in strategic direction, actuarial processes, and risk management, having held previous roles including Chief Product and Analysis Officer and Chief Risk Officer within the same organization. Prior roles also include Director of Risk Management and Actuarial Analysis at Union and Chief Actuary at Eureko Romania, where Koma gained extensive experience in life, pensions, health, and non-life insurance. Koma holds a PhD in Insurance Mathematics from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave and completed executive education at Hult Ashridge.
