Christopher Payne

Christopher Payne, APR, Fellow PRSA, serves as the Chief Communications Officer for Union Public Schools, the eighth largest public school district in Oklahoma, since January 2017. Prior to this role, Christopher held the position of Associate Chief Communications Officer and Executive Director of Communications at Tulsa Public Schools from September 2011 to January 2017. Christopher also served as Vice President & General Manager at Saxum, managing operations in Tulsa and providing counsel to various clients from March 2010 to September 2011, and was a Senior Manager for Corporate Communications at Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. from April 1993 to March 2010. Christopher's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emporia State University.
