Lonnie Schield serves as an Operating Partner at Building Industry Partners since January 2008, contributing to the firm’s focus on private growth equity investment in the U.S. In addition, Lonnie has held the role of Co Chair of Governance at Union Station Homeless Services since January 2015 and was the Immediate Past President of the Pasadena City College Foundation from June 2012 to March 2016, after joining its Board in 2005. Previous experience includes positions as President of The Terry Companies, Regional Manager at Stock Building Supply, and Partner at The Whitehawk Partnership, all contributing to housing development and building materials distribution in Southern California. Lonnie began a career in housing development and general contracting as President of L. R. Schield Jr Inc. from 1977 to 1982. Lonnie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology - Construction from California State University, Long Beach, between 1969 and 1971.
