Rick Taphorn

Rick Taphorn serves as the Vice President for Business Affairs at Union University since September 2019. Previously held multiple roles at Bryan College from October 2012 to September 2019, including Vice President of Finance and Enrollment, Vice President of Enrollment and Information Systems, and Vice President of Information Systems. Rick Taphorn was the Director of Financial Services at Missouri Baptist University from August 2011 to September 2012 and served as the Director of Financial Aid at Bryan College from October 2005 to August 2011. Taphorn began a career in higher education as a Financial Aid Counselor at Tennessee Temple University from January 2004 to October 2005. Currently pursuing an Ed.D at Union University, Taphorn holds an MBA from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a B.S. in Business Administration from Tennessee Temple University.
